10-14-06 : Take time to be Amazed! When was the last time you found yourself completely amazed by God? When you pray, do you believe that God will hear and answer those prayers? Do you really understand how much God loves you? God continues to answer my prayers in amazing ways.. Even when I feel unworthy of asking for anything ~He shows me His love by granting me the very desires of my heart! He never ceases to amaze me. "With just one touch of Your hand You put each star in its place. All creation bows down at the sound of Your Name. When I look all around me it's Your power I see. Who am I, Lord, that You're mindful of me?" ~What Have I I guess I'm not amazed that God can do it ~ for He can do anything. Rather, I'm amazed He would choose to do it ~ and for a sinner like me! We need to take time to be amazed. To be awestruck at His glory and sovereignty. Don't let an answered prayer go unacknowqledged because of life's distractions ~ take time to praise God and let His blessings be your fuel! Give Him the honor He's due! ~Colleen |
